Spinning My Butt Into Gear Man today I was dragging ass big time. Jason got up for a morning master's swim (it starts at 5:30 am), so of course that woke me up. I wasn't planning on running, so I tried to go back to sleep. I dozed for a bit, but I knew that it was getting closer and closer to my alarm going off, so I never was able to fully fall asleep again. Should have just gotten up and ran. But, it's Wednesday and that means spin class. I'll readily admit to almost skipping out though. All morning I just couldn't seem to wake up. I felt like my eyes were just going to shut and that was going to be the end of it. I was really banking on spin to give me a boost of much-needed energy to get me through the afternoon. And, it did - well, up until about 3:30 then it was crash city. I'd say that about 95% of the time, workouts are the cure-all for an energy slump.
