More Speed Work This morning the alarm went off way way too early for my liking, and it was even 10 minutes later than normal. But, I had a rundate with my running buddy for some 800's. Today was the first cool run of the season too. We had actually texted about being strong and not giving in to the urge to wear too much clothing. Your mind says, "Hey dummy, it's cold." But you know, you know, you know you're going to get hot. So, I pulled out my shorts, a short-sleeved top last night. This morning, my brain kicked in and I grabbed my arm sleeves at the last minute. I stepped out and it definitely felt chilly - 54 degrees according to house thermostat. I felt suddenly smug about my decision to wear the sleeves. The, a mere half a mile later, not so smug. I was sweating already. Sweating? 54 degrees? Yep. And I'm sure I'll repeat this error a few more times before I learn. Luckily, my piriformis problems weren't flaring up quite as bad as yeste...
